On January 3, 2019, Zhao Gang, Vice President of China Society of Inspection and Quarantine (short for CSIQ), Xia Yang, Secretary General of CSIQ, and the heads of relevant departments came to the Unified Two-dimensional Code Registration Management Center ( short for UTC Global) for discussion and exchange. Zhang Chao, Executive Director of UTC Global, presided over the meeting. Wang Kejiao, Director of Expert Committee of Accreditation and Assessment Bureau of UTC Global, Zhang Yi, Head of UTC China Affairs, and Du Zhihui, Vice President of Zhongguancun Industry& Information Institute of Two-dimensional Code Technology ( short for ZIIOT) attended the meeting.

 
At the meeting, Executive Director Zhang Chao introduced the development status of the global Two-dimensional code industry and the construction and promotion progress of the international standard Two-dimensional code identification system. UTC Global is the maintainer and code issuer of the ISO/IEC 15459 series of international standard IDcode identification system. It has begun to provide Two-dimensional code services to global users, including international Two-dimensional code distribution, standard formulation, accreditation and assessment system establishment, etc. The code distribution service of Two-dimensional code in China was also officially launched at the end of 2018.

 
According to Vice President Zhao Gang, CSIQ is committed to organizing academic exchanges and technical cooperation at home and abroad, promoting the industrialization development of inspection, testing and quarantine, and providing strong technical support for quality inspection work. At present, CSIQ cooperate with several well-known groups jointly built the "five-in-one" QBBSS quality chain and quality assurance co-governance system of quality credit, product standard, inspection and testing, quality traceability and quality insurance based on new technologies such as blockchain, big data, and cloud computing. In the future, we also hope that by adopting IDcode international two-dimensional code standard and combining with QBBSS quality chain, to realize the quality improvement and value sharing of enterprises and facilitate the transformation of old and new industrial kinetic energy.

 
Finally, the two parties stated that they will give full play to their respective strengths and experiences in industry resources, technical standards research and formulation, training and education, as long as application and promotion, and gradually carry out and strengthen the accreditation and assessment, commodity quality traceability and other compliance application with two-dimensional code technology in the inspection and quarantine industry according to the international standard IDcode identification system. Through the joint efforts of all parties, which will enable Chinese consumers to enjoy more convenient, efficient and high quality services and help build China into a quality powerhouse.
