IDcode Global Attracted Attentions at the China-South Asia Technology Transfer and Collaborative Innovation Conference

On June 14, 2018,the 3rd Forum on China-South Asia Technology Transfer and CollaborativeInnovation Conference, co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technologyof China and the People’s Government of Yunnan Province, was held in Kunming.

Speakers include Zhang Jianguo, the Vice Minister ofthe Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and the Director -General ofthe State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of China; Li Xiuling, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Shahzad Gul AROYOBEE, Minister of Communications and InformationTechnology of Afghanistan;Girirajmani POKHAREL, Minister of Education and Science of Nepal Sarath L.B. AMUNUGAMA, Minister of Science, Technology, Research, Skills Development & Vocational Training and CulturalHeritage of Sri Lanka; Mr. Muhammad TIPU, Consul-General of Parkistan inChengdu.

All the guests attended the conference and deliveredkeynote speeches on the theme of “InnovationDrives Development, Collaboration Wins the Future ”.

Zhang Chao, the ExecutiveDirector of China Registration & Certification Center of two-dimensionalcode (CNRT), was invited to deliver a keynote speech to on the topic of “IDcode Global , a two-dimensional code unifiedidentification platform, to facilitate the realization of electronic andfacilitation of international trade ” at this conference. He made a brief analysis about the current internationaltrade development situation and proposed suggestions for the future developmentof international trade. He pointed out that the features of future economicdevelopment are cross-border, shared, and off-site. He also states that as anew data carrier, two-dimensional code, has already shows enough potentialbenefits against linear bar code and gradually become the next generationglobal machine-readable data carrier and identifier for product, things and allthe entities of global trade. The establishment of the IDcode global platformwhich he had dedicated to has created an interconnected, secure and reliableinformation exchange systems for the globalization of 2D code. IDcode globalplatform will provides worldwide public services such as registration,analysis, certification, and technical support for two-dimensional code, whichwill facilitate the mutual recognition of the two-dimensional code standards andinformation interconnection on a global scale.

During the meeting, Mr.Zhang Chao, the Executive Director of CNRT and Mr.SatyabrataSahu, theCoordinator of the United Nations Asia-Pacific Economic and Social CommissionAsia-Pacific center for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) discussed cooperation onthe IDcode global unified identification system . Mr. Sahu said that the IDcodeglobal unified identification system will play an important role in thepromoting of international trade with its unified identification mechanisms,and he believed that it will also facilitates the interconnection of policies,facilities, trade, and funds between different countries. The two sides decidedto  actively cooperate in the constructionand promotion of IDcode global system to accelerate the globalization of andpromote the electronization and facilitation of international trade.

Mr. Zhang and V.K. Mishra, the Executive VicePresident of India-China Trade Center, conducted in-depth talks on how topromote economic and cultural exchanges between India and China, and how toaccelerate the construction of a two-dimensional code certification system forSino-indian import and export trade; Mr. Zhang and Dr. Chindy Vasudevappareached a consensus  on jointlyformulating the application standards of two-dimensional codes for food safety,to promote the food import and export trade between China and India.
