Forefront in the winds and waves | UTC China held 2019 annual meeting and 2020 kick-off meeting

On January 12 and13, 2020, UTC China, the Unified Two-dimensional Code Registration Center, held the 2019 annual meeting and 2020 kick-off meeting in Beijing with theme of "Forefront in the winds and waves". Representatives from 50 branch offices of UTC China attended the meeting, reminiscing the 2019and opening a new chapter together for 2020.

Zhang Chao,President of Zhongguancun Industry& Information Research Institute of Two-dimensional Code Technology and Executive Director of UTC Global, first delivered a keynote speech, and summarized UTC's achievements in 2019 with four "new": new steps, new patterns, new breakthroughs and new models. In the past year, in the face of increasingly fierce competition in technical standards, code distributions and application promotions in two-dimensional code industry at home and abroad, UTC China, under the guidance and support of relevant authorities in China, has made progresses and breakthroughs in product innovation, standard formulation, application demonstration, international exchange activities, etc. In 2019, UTC co hosted the Trade Facilitation Standards and Best Practices Forum, the AIM Summit 2019, the International Two-dimensional Code Industry Development Conference and other international conferences. The National Medical Products Administration authorized UTC to be the one of three code issuing agency of UDI, bringing our overall business development to a new level.

Zhang Yi, Director of UTC China, Li Ning, Ren Jie, Jiang Wanli, Deputy Directors, Wang Jinlei, Director of Operations, Chi Jianping, Executive Vice President of Zhongguancun Industry& Information Research Institute of Two-dimensional Code Technology, Du Zhihui, Vice President of Zhongguancun Industry& Information Research Institute of Two-dimensional Code Technology, and heads of all departments attended the meeting, and conducted business training around the topics of "code distribution and enterprise node construction", "IDBrand business system", "authorization and assessment business", "two dimensional code industry ecosystem construction", "UDI business practical training" and other topics of business training and explanation.

The meeting also invited Wang Kejiao, director of UTC global standards and evaluation technical committee, he Kejia, vice president of China's urban development research, Hu Yongmei, Executive Director of Sinopharm Group Medical Device Research Institute, to share with you the latest industry trends, such as certification and evaluation work, Smart city IDcode distribution work, and UDI at home and abroad.

On the afternoon of Jan.13, it’s the sharing sessions, the directors of UTC China branch services summarized and shared the work in 2019, talked about their feelings and gains, and accumulated more strength for the work in 2020.
In the summary of the meeting, President Zhang Chao pointed out that all branches should have clear objectives, focus on core businesses, pay close attention to the implementation work, and seize the development opportunity brought by domestic and foreign environmental changes.
