At the 2018 International Two-Dimensional Code Industry Development Summit, Konovalov· Nikolai, Assistant of Vice Secretary-General of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization (short for EECO), on behalf of EECO, congratulated the first exchange and cooperation grand meeting of International Two-dimensional Code Industry was successfully held in Changchun, China.

With the continuous development of the international two-dimensional code industry, new industries, new models and new business types have been emerged, two-dimensional code is becoming a new symbol carrier for global trade circulation and settlement. The standardization, systemization and security development of two-dimensional codes industry is imperative. This summit not only greatly promoted the international exchange and cooperation of the two-dimensional code industry, but also provided opportunities of international exchanges and industrial cooperation for relevant countries and international organizations. Two-dimensional code issuing service was launched by UTC Global (Unified Two-dimensional Code Registration Management Center),which is playing an important role in promoting the healthy development of the global Two-dimensional code industry.

Since its establishment in 2012, Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization (EECO) has focused on strengthening exchanges and cooperation between European and Asian countries in economy, trade, science, technology, culture and tourism, promoting the formation of global cooperative partnership and promoting the coordinated development of member countries. So far, EECO has opened more than 50 representative offices around the world, working in different directions and fields, and paying special attention to the impact of new technologies on international economy and trade.

Konovalov· Nikolai said that from the original Morse code to the one-dimensional code, and then to the birth of two-dimensional code, two-dimensional code can clearly see the storage capacity, convenient, easy to read and other advantages. He believes that the new two-dimensional code technology can make the production process more liberal, ensure information security, solve more problems! Because, in Russia, bar code technology was previously mainly used in the packaging of wine products, now two-dimensional code technology has been used in Russia's high-speed rail, airlines, hospitals, taxes, marketing and publicity, transportation and so on, and large many famous enterprises are using two-dimensional code. From the development trend, Russian companies will also use higher quality two-dimensional code.

Konovalov· Nikolai believes that the application of two-dimensional code technology in various fields has its unique advantages. From the perspective of the Russian two-dimensional code industry, the most widely used is the two-dimensional code, one-dimensional code is not enough! In addition, in the field of commodity circulation, through the scanning of the two-dimensional code, people can know the production date and delivery date of each product in a timely manner, and the operator can obtain all the corresponding information by scanning the two-dimensional code.

However, during the process, sometimes some human errors are inevitable. How to minimize these errors is also very important. Therefore, the adoption of the new Two-dimensional code technology can release human resources and reduce labor cost, which will ultimately have a positive impact on the overall economic development.
